Ensure your home is comfortable in both summer and winter with split system air conditioning. At Hansberry Electrical Contractors, we work with most brands and are happy to discuss your budget, however we do highly recommend ‘Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ as the superior choice. Split system air conditioners provide you the flexibility of cooling or heating specific rooms rather than your entire home.
**If you supply your own new unit for installation, we cover 12-month workmanship warranty. We do not install second-hand systems.
Split System Maintenance
Did you know your split system air conditioner should be maintained every 12-months? At Hansberry Electrical Contractors, we want you and your family to be safe from harmful bacteria and issues such as Legionnaires’ disease.
Whilst providing servicing and maintenance on your split system, we will:
- Inspect the entire unit
- Thoroughly clean all sections with our specialised cleaning solution
- Rinse all surfaces to remove any bacteria and harmful allergens
- Reassemble the unit to a clean condition
- Test the unit to ensure it’s completely operational and in good working order
- Ensure the areas of your home we worked in are neat and tidy
Evaporative System Installations
Whether you’re freshly installing an evaporative system or replacing a dated unit, our team at Hansberry Electrical can help. When compared to a split system, an evaporative air conditioner is more cost-effective whilst operational and remain an environmentally friendly option to cool your home during the warmer seasons. We recommend ‘Cool Breeze’ evaporative systems as the superior choice, plus they offer a 10-year warranty for your peace of mind.
Evaporative System Servicing
For the health and safety of your family, your evaporative air conditioner should be serviced every 12-months. This is recommended to make sure no harmful bacteria is residing within your unit, but also for general inspection to remove debris, and check components which may be damaged or are due for replacement.
Whilst providing servicing and maintenance on your evaporative system, we will:- Remove all filter pads
- Clean thoroughly with freshwater hosing through until the water runs clean
- Wash the entire unit to remove any debris or build up
- Refit the filter pads and run a disinfectant through to kill any harmful bacteria and germs which may be present
- Test the unit to ensure it’s completely operational and in good working order
- Ensure the areas of your home we worked in are neat and tidy
