Ocean Reef is a coastal suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, located approximately 30 kilometres north of Perth’s central business district. It is part of the City of Joondalup.
Ocean Reef is a relatively new suburb, having only been developed since the 1970s. It is primarily a residential area, although it does have some light industry and a small shopping centre.
